History

First pioneered in the the late 1800s, Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery thrived as one of the top whiskey distilleries in the nation until the ill-timed Prohibition pushed it into a hiatus lasting over 100 years. Having recently resurrected the historic family distilling venture of their great-great-great grandfather, brothers Andy and Charlie Nelson invite you to celebrate the 83rd anniversary of Prohibition's repeal, an act that has allowed them to shake off the dirt and launch the second wave of the Nelson family's whiskey making business.
