BBQ and Bourbon were made for each other so we thought we'd offer up a cocktail for you to try on National BBQ Day. Named for Nashville's infamous multi story pre-prohibition watering hole this tall cool cocktail combines some of the South's favorite summer flavors. The Bourbon and Apricot flavors harmonize with BBQ's seasonings and sauces while the lemon, bitters, and the tannins in the tea help cut through the fat from the meat to refresh your palate. It goes down easy, so be careful, and it's only slightly harder to make than an Arnold Palmer. Cheers!
2 oz Belle Meade Bourbon
.5 oz Marie Brizard Apry (Apricot Liqueur)
1 part Lemonade
2 parts Unsweet Tea
1 dash Regan's Orange Bitters
Build in a tall glass filled with ice. Stir with a straw and garnish with a lemon wedge.
