Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery is making Tennessee whiskey unlike any other distillery in the state, and the new Madeira Cask Finish would make a good gift for anyone interested in American whiskey. This is the third release in the Special Cask Finish Series, after the release of Sherry and Cognac Cask Finished Bourbons. For the Madeira Finish, six- and nine-year-old bourbon was married in Malmsey Madeira casks, resulting in a flavorful and well balanced whiskey that has lovely notes of honey, vanilla, and dried fruits.
